Ben Van Kleek is an award-winning filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC, recognized for directing and producing feature films and TV commercials that captivate audiences worldwide. His commercials have reached millions, airing on networks such as ANIMAL PLANET, CNBC, DISCOVERY, CNN, FOX, and OWN. 

Ben produced and directed the indie feature JONAH, a sci-fi thriller exploring the mystery of an alleged alien abduction. The script was co-written by Van Kleek and WGA screenwriter Trevor Vandelac (POWER). The film stars Osric Chau (SUPERNATURAL), Alaina Huffman (RIVERDALE), Ken Kirby (GOOD TROUBLE), and Tahmoh Penikett (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA). 

JONAH has captivated audiences worldwide. The film premiered at the Austin film festival, an academy-qualifying event, where it was nominated for a jury award in the Dark Matters category. The film was acquired by Gravitas Ventures who secured North America rights at the American Film Market. JONAH is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and TVOD. 

Internationally, JONAH was represented by world-wide sales representative JackRabbit Media at the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes, securing distribution in territories including Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the Middle East. 

The film has garnered significant social media buzz by millions of users and press coverage from IGN, IMDB, SCREEN DAILY, INDIEWIRE, DREAD CENTRAL, YAHOO, COLLIDER, DAILYMOTION, and ONE MEDIA COVERAGE.
